Paper: Evaluating Diet Websites
In my Introduction to Nutrition class, I wrote a paper evaluating two socially-marketed websites: NutriSystem and South Beach. I compared and contrasted the validity of the diets as well as the nutritional benefits and deficiencies of each. For each website I briefly described the overall diet, health claims, and the nutritional balance of macronutrients and micronutrients.

Paper: My Diet analysis
Introduction to Nutrition Assignment Prompt: The goal of the Diet Analysis Project is to apply the scientific method. The project included writing hypotheses, collecting data (a 3-day food record), entering the data into an online software program called MyDietAnalysis, analyzing the data, reporting the outcome of my analysis, and designing and and evaluating a one-day diet that meets self- identified goals. A secondary goal of the overall Diet Analysis Project is to understand my typical dietary habits in order to learn how to improve my eating habits to benefit my health.
